Zonzo is a living, site-specific artistic research project I did together with performance artist Laia Cabrera. Rooted in the act of wandering ("andare a zonzo"), the project explored how people shape and are shaped by the territories they inhabit. Through walking, interviewing, and observing, we aimed to build a collective archive of voices, places, and memories tied to specific landscapes.
The project took place in Galicia, Álava and Celrà, where we collaborated with Azala and L’Animal a l’Esquena, and took the shape of a documentary, photo and video catalog and a number of live shows mixing video and performance. ESC
